Popeyes reaches 100th restaurant milestone in the UK

The new restaurant is located at the London Bridge station.

Popeyes will open its 100th restaurant in London Bridge Station this 25 November.

The opening marks its fourth year in operations in the UK after it first opened in Westfield, Stratford.

The London Bridge station will offer both dine-in and takeaway options for commuters. According to figures from Network Rail, 72 million passengers pass through London Bridge station every year.

The chicken chain is on track to open 50 restaurants in 2025 alone.

“We’re immensely proud to have reached this milestone, growing to 100 restaurants within four years of entering a new market is a remarkable achievement. Our growth so far is a strong testament to the strength and appeal of the Popeyes brand and our fantastic, authentic fried chicken, which is always cooked fresh and breaded by hand,” Tom Crowley, Chief Executive Officer at Popeyes UK, said.
