SSP Group launches four brands in Sweden

The move Includes the first travel concession for Bastard Burgers.

SSP Group announced it has partnered with airport operator Swedavia to open four new food and beverage (F&B) units at Umeå Airport and Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

At Umeå Airport, the company launched UME Fika & Bar, geared to provide Swedish meatballs, hamburgers. shrimp sandwiches, vegan dishes and a range of lactose and gluten-free treats.

The other three F&B units were opened at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, including the first travel retail concession for Bastard Burgers, which opened at Terminal 4 last May, and new concepts Uncorked and ÄTA.

Uncorked is a lounge-style wine bar located at Terminal 5 Pier F, offering passengers an extensive wine list and a menu serving early morning breakfasts and classic Swedish dishes, whilst ÄTA is a café and bar located in the Terminal 4 domestic area, focussing on freshly baked goods including buns, hot sandwiches and pizza as well as salads and lighter dishes.
