Casual Dining Group adds on-demand pay to its financial package for employees
It gives their employees the flexibility to pay for unforeseen expenses.
Casual Dining Group has rolled out a suite of financial services for its employees, including an on-demand pay effective immediately across all of its brands to attract and retain their people and safeguard them from possible mental health issues.
An on-demand pay function along with real-time financial education allows employees to access the money they have earned up until that point ahead of payday for a £1.75 transaction fee.
It is facilitated through Wagestream in partnership with Fourth.
Due to the integration, all payments are deducted from the normal fortnightly or monthly pay cycles so the payroll process is not affected. This gives all CDG employees the flexibility to pay for sudden and unforeseen expenses.
CDG, which operates restaurants such as Las Iguanas and Bella Italia, says they want to safeguard their employees against possible mental health issues caused by financial distress due to these ‘significant’ unforeseen expenses.
CDG has also introduced Salary Finance, a service which helps people get out of debt and into savings through affordable loans, simple savings both directly from salary, and financial education.
