Chairman of JAB Holdings Bart Becht to retire
Aside from the retirement, the company also appointed a new CFO and lead operating partner.
JAB Holdings, the owner of Pret A Manger and Krispy Kreme, has announced that their chairman Bart Becht is slated to retire this year.
"After almost 40 years in the branded consumer business, I have decided it is time to refocus my activities and retire. It has been a tremendous privilege and pleasure to work with JAB and the many people within its portfolio companies and I wish them continued success,” Becht said.
They also mentioned that their senior partner Peter Harf and CEO Olivier Goudet will continue to lead the company and oversee its investment strategy.
“Bart has been a valued member of the JAB team for many decades,” Harf said. “Having worked with him since our days at RB, I will miss our day-to-day interactions on a personal level but wish him all the best during his well-deserved retirement.”
JAB Holdings also appointed new officials, recruiting Fabien Simon as their new chief financial officer and Jacek Szarzynski as their lead operating officer on their new Pret Panera Holding Company.
