Costa Coffee names Niel Lake as managing director of UK&I operations

The appointment follows the resignation of his predecessor Jason Cotta.

Costa Coffee has appointed Neil Lake, retail and operations director, as its new managing director where he is in charge of handling the chain’s UK and Ireland operations.

Lake was relocated from Australia when he joined the coffee chain in 2018. He was most recently a senior executive for Coles Supermarket.

The appointment follows the resignation of its former managing director Jason Cotta.

“I am delighted to have appointed Neil to the role of managing director, UK&I. Neil brings with him extensive strategic and operational experience at a global level, with a strong track record of driving sustainable results,” Dominic Paul, CEO of Costa Coffee, said.
