Domino's Pizza Group appoints Neil Smith as interim CFO

He will join by 15 April.

Domino's Pizza Group announced the appointment of Neil Smith as the pizza chain’s interim chief financial officer with effect from 15 April.

Smith previously served as CFO of Ei Group plc (formerly Enterprise Inns) from 2011 until its recent takeover by Stonegate Pub Company. He has had senior finance roles in Compass Group, Virgin Media and Telewest.

His appointment follows the death of the group's previous CFO David Bauernfeind in December 2019. Being an interim appointment, Smith will not be joining the board.

"I look forward to welcoming Neil to the Group. Neil will make an excellent addition to the team at this important time,” chairman Matt Shattock said in a statement.
