Dunkin' Brands promotes John Varughese to international senior vice president

Varughese has been working in the company for 16 years.

Dunkin’ Brands has announced that they promoted John Varughese to senior vice president for their international operations.

Varughese, previously their International vice president, will now be responsible for all aspects of Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin' business units outside the U.S. and be on the company’s leadership team. He will also be replacing Dunkin' Brands chairman Nigel Travis.

"John is a seasoned international retail executive with a deep understanding of both the Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin' brands and the countries we serve," Dave Hoffmann, Dunkin' Brands CEO and Dunkin' US president said.

“His appointment as the head of our international business enables us to seamlessly continue our support of franchisees and licensees and strategically grow our two brands outside the US.”

Varughese has been working in the company for 16 years and has prior experience in Galadari Ice Cream Company and Smith Kline Beecham Consumer Brands.
