Gaucho recruits Max Castaldo as new executive chef
He held positions in hotels and restaurants such as Lanesborough Hotel and Lasarte.
Gaucho has announced that they appointed Max Castaldo as their new executive chef, making him responsible for the chain’s research and development on their menus.
Castaldo was previously the head chef at the Lanesborough Hotel where he was tasked to create new menus for all of the hotel’s outlets.
Gaucho’s new appointee started his career eight years ago in a sushi bar until he moved to the three-Michelin starred restaurant Lasarte in Barcelona. He also took the role of senior sous chef in Rosewood Hotel last 2013 and became the head chef of W London Hotel in 2016.
