Greggs board director Allison Kirkby steps down

A search for a replacement non-executive director is ongoing.

Greggs' Allison Kirkby announced her decision to end her six-year tenure as non-executive director of the board.

Kirkby, who has recently been appointed as chief executive officer at TDC in Denmark and as a non-executive director of BT Group, will be stepping down from her position on 21 May 2019.

Speaking of her decision, Ian Durant, Chairman, said "In her six-year tenure, Allison has made a superb, independent and objective contribution to the business changes that have taken place. We will all miss her, but wish her every continued success in her new roles".

A search for a replacement non-executive director and Chair of the Audit Committee is ongoing.
