Just Eat chair Mike Evans departs amidst board simplification

The CMA also revoked an order to keep Just Eat and Takeaway.com separate.

Just Eat Takeaway.com announced the simplification of its board and departure of former Just Eat chair Mike Evans.

The two firms merged in April, with having won a bidding war for Just Eat in January against Prosus.

Evans would originally join Just Eat Takeaway as supervisory chair but decided not to stand for election to the supervisory board and to depart from his current role.

Other board changes include the departure of all non-executive members, including non-executive director Roisin Donnelly. This follows the resignations of Alistair Cox, Diego Oliva, Frederic Coorevits and Helen Weir last March.

Gwyn Burr and Jambu Palanappian, meanwhile, will remain in their roles as supervisory board members, whilst Adriaan Nuhn will continue to chair the supervisory board.
