Mike Dowell will be stepping down after four and a half years in the post.
Dowell joined the company in June 2013 and presided over revenue and profit growth leading up to an IPO before the company was bought by the franchisor, the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation, in October 2016.
Krispy Kreme UK's managing director Richard Cheshire will take over as CEO from November 2017.
