Subway announced the appointment of Mike Macrie as chief information officer.
He will be tasked with overseeing the company’s technology initiatives. and global teams to ensure delivery of modern, timely and effective platforms for Subway business owners and guests.

Formerly Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Land O’ Lakes Inc., Macrie has experience leading transformational and digital initiatives that aim to modernize the corporation’s core applications and made significant industry-leading investments in advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital marketing.
During his career, he pioneered the utilization of satellite imagery for managing and operating large farms to improve crop yields and reduce the financial risk to farmers. He is also a past winner of the Forbes CIO Innovation Award.
Macrie holds a degree in Engineering Physics from Cornell University in New York, and an M.B.A. from Duke University.
