DP Eurasia revenues soar 36.8% in 2018
Growth in Turkey and Russia were driven primarily by online ordering platforms.
DP Eurasia, the master franchisee of the Domino's Pizza brand in Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, reported that its group revenue and system sales increased by 36.8% and 30.9%, respectively, in the year ended 31 December 2018.
System sales in Turkey saw a growth of 14.0% in the period, while Russian system sales soared by 81.8%. Adjusted EBITDA margin as a percentage of system sales was at 9.8%, with both regions delivering improved returns.
Turkey and Russia like-for-like growth was predominantly driven by the online ordering platforms with online delivery system sales as a share of delivery system sales reaching 60.8% for the period, up from 51.8% in 2017.
Additionally, a record high of 81 new stores were added in the year, bringing the group’s total network to 724 stores.
“Innovation, related to both our products and our technology, continues to be the main driver of our strong performance,” DP Eurasia CEO Aslan Saranga said.
