Subway cofounder dies at 67
The sandwich chain announced that its cofounder, Fred DeLuca, succumbed to leukemia last September 14.
DeLuca had been diagnosed with cancer in 2013. Earlier this summer, DeLuca's sister, Suzanne Greco, took over the role as president and oversaw day-to-day operations while DeLuca received treatment.
The company has not yet announced who will be DeLuca's successor as CEO.
