Uber Eats is quietly testing a dine-in option in the US.
As reported by Business Insider, customers in Austin, Texas, can now choose to “dine-in” in addition to ordering delivery or pick-up through the app.
“A Dine-in order is when you place an order through the Eats app and you go to the restaurant to collect it,” Uber stated on its list of frequently asked questions. “You can then choose to sit in the restaurant to eat your food.”
