Just Eat, Deliveroo and McDonald's in talks with Transport for London against junk food ad ban: report

Some of these companies are said to be thinking about taking legal action.

Just Eat, Deliveroo and McDonald’s are among the companies in talks with government body Transport for London (TfL) in minimising the effects of the upcoming junk food ad ban on February next year.

According to a report by The Times, the ad ban is said to be a solution to reduce London’s obesity rates. However these companies argued that there were no clear evidence that the ads are indeed contributing to the growing obesity rates.

Some are also said to be thinking about taking legal action.
