Chipotle’s Chicken al Pastor is back in the UK

The dish is now available in a high-protein cup for the first time.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is bringing back its Chicken al Pastor to the UK menu for a limited period starting 10 February.

The dish, last available in 2024, returns after social media users called for its comeback.

The chicken is grilled in small batches and marinated with seared morita peppers, ground achiote, and pineapple, then finished with lime and chopped coriander.

This year, it will also be available in a high-protein cup.

Chipotle is also introducing gift cards in the UK for the first time.

On 10 February, the first customer to order Chicken al Pastor at participating restaurants will receive a £100 gift card.

A halal-friendly version of Chicken al Pastor will be offered at nearly half of the chain’s UK locations.
