Dunkin' Brands in Liverpool FC tie-up.
Dunkin' Brands Group, the parent company of Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins has announced a multi-year marketing partnership with Liverpool Football Club.
The deal will see Dunkin' Donuts become the official coffee, tea and bakery partner to the football club, and Baskin-Robbins the official ice-cream supplier.
However, the partnership goes beyond simple vendor arrangements. It will also see joint participation in pre-season tours the club undertakes, Liverpool FC tickets and autographed items being used in joint promotions and sweepstakes, as well as access for Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins to Liverpool FC global digital media, Liverpool TV spots, print ads and home game signage.
It is not difficult to see why the tie-up makes sense. With a huge fan base, including over 200 Official Supporters Clubs globally, Liverpool FC is a global brand. This fits nicely with Dunkin' Brands increasing global presence.
