Le Pain Quotidien to donate to Wholesome Wave for Earth Week

For Earth Week, the brand is aiming to encourage its customers to "Eat More Plants", and pledged to donate part of its proceeds from plant-based food to charity.

"When you eat plant-based this week, we’ll donate 1% of the proceeds from your order to Wholesome Wave, a non-profit working to create a vibrant, just and sustainable food system," Le Pain Quotidien said.

According to the brand, by making locally grown produce affordable and available, it inspires under-served consumers to make healthier food choices.

"If, by the end of the week, you’ve hopped on the plant-based eating train with us, we’ll have you covered with seeds of your own to plant," the brand said.

"Find Sweet Basil, Cherry Belle Radish and Carrot seeds on our communal tables all week so you can begin your own gardens, and incorporate your own plants and herbs into meals at home!"
