Nando's to host five free parties to celebrate end of England's lockdown

Selected restaurants will switch to dance floors for one night only.

Nando's announced it is hosting five free parties from 21 June, turning restaurants into music venues in celebration of the easing of lockdown in England.

Assuming the government’s roadmap continues as scheduled, all restrictions on social contact in England could be lifted on that date.

Nando’s Yard Unlocked project will happen in Leeds, Birmingham, London, and Bristol, where restaurants will switch to dance floors for one night only. The chain will work with local promoters to produce a celebration of each city’s music and culture.

The brand is also calling on customers to vote for the fifth and final city in the series of parties.

Event tickets will be available to the public, but Nando’s said exclusive access will be given to students via its new and limited-edition Pocket PERi-PERi keychains. Two ticket release phases will happen on 14 May and 21 May whilst the ballot draw will be made on 4 June.
