Sides names Nick Evans as Head of New Business Development

He will lead UK and international expansion, focusing on new sites and commercial partnerships.

Sides has appointed Nick Evans as its new Head of New Business Development.

He takes on responsibility for identifying expansion opportunities in the UK and overseas, as well as securing commercial partnerships as the company looks to grow its footprint.

Evans has more than 20 years of experience in hospitality, franchising, and multi-site operations.

He spent over a decade at Yum! Brands, where he was involved in opening restaurants across the UK and Europe and worked on franchise growth programmes.

The appointment comes as Sides prepares for further expansion.

The company plans to open 15 restaurants globally in 2026, bringing its total estate to 20 sites by the end of the year.

In the UK, the business intends to expand from its existing five locations to new sites in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Livingston.

Openings in Liverpool and Cardiff are also planned.

Overseas, the company is continuing its international rollout after launching its first international restaurant in Singapore in June 2025.

In 2026, it plans to open in India, Malaysia, Singapore, and the UAE, with confirmed locations including Kuala Lumpur, Sentosa Island, and Dubai.

Additionally, Sides has also appointed Georgia Hobson to its marketing team, where she will work on campaigns and community activity.
