Costa Coffee debuts new hot drink range in winter menu update
The brand is also expanding its plant-based menu.
Costa Coffee is introducing possibly the first of its kind drink range, Hot Milkshakes in an update to its winter menu.
The new range is available in three flavours, White Chocolate and Strawberry, Salted Caramel Coffee, and Chocolate Hazel.
The hot milkshakes retain the thick texture of milkshakes and are topped with Light Whip. Depending on the flavour, customers can have a choice of sprinkles, sweet caramel vermicelli, or chocolate brownie crumbs as additional toppings.
In addition to the new range, Costa Coffee is also expanding its plant-based menu in its collaboration with BOSH!, the renowned plant-based culinary experts, to offer an array of products which cater to the growing demand for plant-based options.
The new menu items are suitable for vegans, vegetarians, flexitarians or those who are simply looking to reduce their meat intake.
Options include the new Plant-Based Saucy Chicken Fajita Wrap, perfectly paired with an Oat Iced Latte, featuring a tomato tortilla wrap, filled with appetising plant-based chicken, spicy tomato and herb sauce, and roasted red peppers and the Plant-Based Smokin’ BBQ Chicken Panini, filled with plant-based chicken in a smoky BBQ sauce, roasted peppers, vegan cheese and fresh spinach in a stone baked sourdough panini.
Also joining the menu is the Plant-Based Crackin’ Ham and Cheeze Toastie, with plant-based smoky ham, cheese and plant-based mayonnaise on white bread. Plant-based lovers can upgrade their breakfast with the Plant-Based Smashin’ Sausage Bap, a lightly toasted breakfast roll with a plant-based spread, filled with succulent plant-based sausages.
