Honest Burgers brings back Halloumi burger for a limited time
The cheese uses Guernsey cow’s milk.
Honest Burgers has relaunched one of their favourite specials from 2019, bringing back heir Halloumi Burger back to their restaurants and delivery.
Available until 5 October, the Halloumi Burger consists of Honest beef with Briddlesford Farm Dairy British halloumi-style cheese, harissa mayo, freshly smashed avocado with coriander, lemon and chilli and pink pickled onions.
Served with Honest's signature homemade rosemary salted chips, the burger comes in at £12.50. The burgers can also be made gluten-free on request.
“We love to champion the best British ingredients wherever possible. This halloumi-style cheese from the Isle of Wight uses 100% Guernsey cow’s milk instead of the usual blend of sheep’s and goat’s milk – it’s high butterfat content gives it a rich buttery flavour and a soft texture that clings to the beef,” Honest Burgers co-founder Tom Barton.
