Patisserie Valerie teams up with cakemaker Reshmi Bennett for winter range

The move comes amid the chain’s ‘second stage of rebranding’.

Patisserie Valerie has collaborated with Reshmi Bennett for six new items in their winter range.

New desserts done with the cakemaker and Bake Off: The Professionals contestant include the salted caramel & chocolate bombe, winter-spiced cheesecake and four new eclairs in chocolate, raspberry, pistachio and coffee.

The brand also teamed up with Neal’s Yard Dairy to create a Croque Monsieur, paired with Wiltshire cured ham and grated nutmeg, along with a vegetarian version made with mushrooms.

Other winter dishes include a vegetarian chilli, a venison stew and an upcoming Halloween-inspired pumpkin soup served with bloomer bread.

The move comes amid the embattled chain’s “second stage” in their rebranding after it was bought by Causeway Capital.

New packaging is expected to launch in 12 of their flagship central London stores with a planned roll out across the rest of the company in 2020.
