Porky's BBQ launches UK's first burger for dogs
They're gluten free, and don't have additives or preservatives.
Porky's BBQ are letting man's best friend in on the National Burger Day fun, as the restaurant chain unveiled London's first burger for dogs.
According to the barbecue chain's news release, it has partnered with homemade dog treat specialists Murphy's Bakery to create Bow Wow Burger.
The burgers are wheat and gluten free, as well having no additives, preservatives, salt, sugar or artificial colourings.
The new product will be made available exclusively at Porky's BBQ restaurants to celebrate National Burger Day on August 25th and National Dog Day on August 26th.
"The brand has 5 dog friendly sites in London; Crouch End, Bankside, Chelsea, Boxpark and Camden, all of which will be offering the exclusive Bow Bow Burger to all doggy pals arriving with their human owners on both dates. People are calling it a Bark-B-Q revolution," stated the news release.
Porky’s is a Memphis BBQ restaurant specialising in low and slow cooked pork that is smoked on-site before serving. They have opened five restaurants in London in three years. Signature dishes include 18-hour slow cooked pulled pork, and the Porky Burger, which was a finalist in this year’s National Burger Awards.
