Yo! Sushi launches vegan-friendly summer menu

The Japanese restaurant chain boasts that each new dish only has 40 to 207 kcal.

Yo! Sushi has launched four new salads, a roll and a dessert pot as their summer specials featuring a myriad of vegetables and citrus fruits.

Some offerings include the Salmon and Orange Ponzu Salad, added with tomatoes, shinso and rice pearls. They also added spicy salads to their menu such as the Smashed Cucumber Salad that comes with red chili, black vinegar and sesame oil dressing; and the Chicken Tangerine Salad which is spicy-glazed with maple soy dressing.

For vegans, they added the Asian Noodle Salad and Summer Rolls to their menu. The Asian Noodle Salad has vermicelli noodles, wakame seaweed and spiralized vegetables while the Summer Roll comes with a mix of vegetables, vermicelli noodles, pineapple and avocado.

Yo! Sushi Has also added a dessert created by plant-based pud brand Freaks of Nature. The Mango Passion Pot is also another vegan-friendly dish, a pudding topped with cashew nuts.

The new menu is currently available until mid-September.
