New sausage concept X-Upper to launch on Upper Street next month
The new restaurant will feature various gourmet sausages found across Europe.
X-Upper, a new sausage concept, is slated to open their debut store in Upper Street on late February.
The restaurant will serve a range gourmet sausages found across Europe, which includes the Olma Bratwurst, a Swiss bratwurst served with a signature purple mustard, pickled cabbage, and milk and honey sourdough.
They will also have daily rotating specials such as Austrian Käsekrainer and a Polish Kielbasa. The drinks menu offers craft beers from FourPure brewery, alongside a selection of wines, and a range of premium soft drinks.
“Through our travels around Europe, we uncovered a set of amazingly delicious and high-quality sausages and I can’t wait for Londoners to be exposed to the richness of our yummy products. Our mission is to completely reinvent the perception of sausage through serving authentic, high quality, local provenance sausages that are true delicacies.” managing director of X-Upper, Mariam French, said.
It also has 40 seatings with plans to have 40 more on the second floor and an additional 20 on the outside terrace later in the year. The interiors feature exposed brick walls, an urban neon decor, and specially commissioned urban art that are said to form a stylish, industrial atmosphere for customers.
