The Sauce opens at Highbury Park

The fast food joint has a selection of savoury and sweet sauces to choose from for their dishes.

A new fast food concept has joined Highbury Park.

Hot Dinners reports that The Sauce allows customers to pick between 14 sauces, both sweet and savoury, to add to any of the dishes on offer.

The team behind the concept is composed of Krishna Anil Bhagat, who has worked in the kitchens at Fatburger and Maison Bab, and childhood friends Pirathipen and Chris.

Four burgers are on the menu, composed of the grilled or fried buttermilk chicken thigh with homemade guacamole, coriander pickled red cabbage and shredded romaine; tempura fried soft shell crab, panko & coconut crusted king prawn and house-spiced portobello mushroom stacked with vegan cheese. All items can be upgraded to a waffle-filled burger for £1.
