The Cheesecake Factory expands into UK via Pentagon Food Group deal

Four American cheesecake varieties will be available to foodservice venues.

The Cheesecake Factory is supplying its desserts to UK hospitality venues under a new distribution deal with The Pentagon Food Group.

Four versions of American cheesecakes will be available to restaurants, cafés, and other foodservice operators: Classic Cheesecake, Chocolate Cheesecake, Mango Key Lime Cheesecake, and White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cheesecake.

Operators will also be given optional branded materials such as menus, posters, table cards, and social media images.

The US-based chain began selling cheesecakes to restaurants in Detroit in the 1950s, before opening its first café in Beverly Hills in 1972.

It has since expanded to more than 350 locations worldwide.

Although some Cheesecake Factory products have been sold through UK retailers in recent years, this marks a more direct push into the British dine-in market.

The cheesecakes will be delivered frozen and defrosted on site before service.
