Costa Coffee drops charge on plant-based milk alternatives

The offer lasts until 1 January.

Costa Coffee is offering all Lactofree and plant-based milk alternatives for free across participating stores during the Christmas period, the chain said in an announcement.

From 1 November to 1 January 2020, customers will be able to customise their handcrafted drink with plant-based alternatives such as Alpro Almond, Alpro Coconut or Alpro Soya, or Arla Lactofree milk, without any extra charge.

All plant-based alternatives used in Costa Coffee stores are not available to purchase in retail stores and specifically made for baristas.

Costa’s Christmas menu and cup designs also landed in stores nationwide last 1 November.
