Shake Shack celebrates 5th UK anniversary with feast at upcoming Mansion House site
Proceeds from the ticketed event will go to a UNICEF-affiliated campaign.
Shake Shack will celebrate its 5th anniversary at its soon-to-open Mansion House site with an exclusive, one-day-only feast.
Guests in the ticketed event will experience a limited-edition menu featuring the Hometown Shack, Hometown Fries and Smoked Caramel Bourbon Shake.
The celebration is done in partnership with New York-based pitmaster Billy Durney.
“We could not be more excited to be bringing out one of our good friends, Billy Durney, an absolute NYC legend, who couples classic BBQ tradition with all the flavours and diversity of Brooklyn, New York. I can’t wait for all of our Shack friends in London to come celebrate with us and get a taste,” Shake Shack culinary director Mark Rosati said.
“The burger, fries and shake that Mark and I teamed up on will bring a Brooklyn, New York BBQ vibe to the traditional Shake Shack food we’ve all come to know and love,” Durney added.
Tickets for the July 4 event are priced at £5, with 100% of sales slated to be donated to the #BakeForSyria campaign, which is curated by London baker Lily Vanilli.
Proceeds from the campaign are then donated to Unicef’s Children of Syria appeal via Unicef Next Generation London.
