Samworth Brothers launches website for new food-to-go brand

The website aims to convey the company's evolution from its previous Ginsters-branded van delivery service.

UK food manufacturer Samworth Brothers has launched the official website for its new retail food brand, Fresh Food for Now Company.

Built and launched in four weeks by digital agency Coherence, the website aims to convey the company's evolution from its previous Ginsters-branded van delivery service to showcase its wider range of products and services.

The website will also promote Samworth Brothers’ expertise in driving sales and providing customer insights, with retail customers soon being able to order products directly from the site.

Fresh Food for Now Company was launched earlier this year in a bid to get a share of the growing food-to-go sector, predicted to be worth £22.8bn by 2023.

“We're in a fast-moving agile market so we need to be able to respond to new trends and customer demand at any time, and the DX8 platform will enable us to do this. In future, our marketing team will take greater control over messaging and how items are displayed on the page, and become less reliant on the agency itself,” Fresh Food for Now Company head of brand & category Alastair Johns said.
