Wimpy launches home delivery services

The chain also just signed an agreement with Deliveroo, boosting their delivery platform.

Wimpy has announced that they now have home delivery services following their series of trials where they saw an average increase in sales of 20% per restaurant.

The chain has already launched the platform to 40% of their stores. They also aim to expand it to at least half of their store count by Christmas.

“We have been delighted with the uptake of the home delivery service, which is helping introduce Wimpy to a new, younger audience and makes it easy for existing customers to enjoy our fabulous food from the comfort of their own homes,” Simon Noble, operations manager of Wimpy, said.

“Our franchisees are thrilled, those enjoying the most success say it is like having a virtual restaurant or an eighth day of the week, which is why we plan to offer home delivery through as many of our restaurants as possible.”
