200 Degrees Coffee's Sheffield site to unveil permanent display of Esperanto advocate Jakob Applebaum

Looking to embrace the city's history, 200 Degrees Coffee's Sheffield site will unveil a permanent display in their coffee shop that will document Jakob Applebaum and his work.
Applebaum was a leading advocate of Esperanto, a language created in the 19th century which became the most widely-spoken constructed international auxiliary language in the world.
The coffee chain's site used to house Applebaum's bookshop, a meeting place for Esperanto group he ran.
They are now inviting Esperanto speakers to meet at their coffee shop.
"Taking place on 23rd October, guests will enjoy educational talks and chatter in Esperanto while enjoying great coffee and a spot of lunch provided by 200 Degrees," they said in an announcement.
