Caffè Nero launches own book awards
The awards will have four categories.
Caffè Nero is launching its own writing awards called Nero Book Awards, a year after coffee brand Costa Coffee scrapped its popular book awards program.
Similar to Costa’s awards, Caffè Nero’s book awards will choose winners in categories such as children’s books, fiction and non-fiction, and debut fiction. Unlike Costa’s Caffè Nero will not hold a poetry category for its awards program.
Each award will have a prize of £5k. All category winners will compete for the overall award called the Nero Gold Prize worth £30k
