Esquires Coffee launches compostable coffee cups
The coffee chain says they want to be a single-use plastic-free business by 2020.
Esquires Coffee has announced that they will be rolling out sustainable and compostable coffee cups in all of their 38 stores for the month of October.
Started since October 1 during International Coffee Day, all of their takeaway boxes, serviettes and straws will also be recyclable.
“We want to make sure our customers know we’re doing all we can to reduce the amount of single-use plastic within our business, so by 2020 we aim to remove all single use plastic from our business,” Aiden Keegan, chief operating officer of Esquires, said.
