itsu launches reusable aluminum flasks

It will donate donate 5p from every flask sold to the Blue Marine Foundation.

Asian restaurant chain itsu has launched its new aluminum refill flasks as part of the global movement to reduce plastic bottle usage, an announcement revealed.

The flasks are made from 70% recycled aluminum and are said to be cost-effective. It is priced at £1.99.

itsu will also donate donate 5p from every flask sold to the Blue Marine Foundation, a charity dedicated to creating marine reserves and establishing sustainable models of fishing.

“Our high performing flask keeps beverages fresher for longer and should go some way in helping our customers reduce their dependency on single-use plastic bottles,” said Julian Metcalfe, itsu’s founder.
