Itsu opens two outlets to serve meals to hospital workers

The chain initially donated £15,000 worth of food to 20 NHS hospitals.

Itsu has served meals for hospital staff from two of its kitchens.

Dozens of staff volunteered at Itsu branches on King’s Road and Regents Place, delivering hundreds of Veggie Gyoza Udon meals to UCLH and Chelsea & Westminster hospitals.

Said hospitals will now receive regular weekly deliveries from Itsu, with St Thomas’ and St Mary’s hospitals being added starting this week.

The meals will be entirely paid for by Itsu and delivered by Deliveroo.
