Just Eat partners with SSEN for power cut customers

Food vouchers will be rolled out in the event of a power outage.

Just Eat has teamed up with Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) to reach power cut customers.

After a service trial in the Thames Valley region, the partnership will see the roll out of food vouchers, which can be used in the instance of power outage, to the electricity provider’s customers in central southern England.

Should customers cannot order via Just Eat during bad weather events and power cuts, SSEN will send alternative welfare provisions, as well as work with local restaurants, shop owners and community centres.
