Pret A Manger reopens ten shop kitchens following requests from local NHS workers
They will also be donating 7,000 additional meals per week to our homeless charity partners.
Pret A Manger has reopened ten shop kitchens located near hospitals or private practices for takeaway and delivery.
The move was in response to requests from a number of local NHS workers and hospitals. Through this initiative, Pret will donate 7,000 additional meals per week to its charity partners.
Shops will be open daily from 8am to 2pm.
Pret said it will also be working with local hospitals to make catering bundles available for collection for NHS workers.
A limited menu of some of their most popular sandwiches, salads and baguettes, as well as hot and cold drinks, baked goods, fruit and snacks will be on offer.
The chain will also sell a selection of "essential" items in their shops, such as milk, butter, and tea. Its 50% discount for NHS workers is set to be reinstated until the end of April.
