
The Sausage Revolution eyes £150,000 via crowdfunding
The concept had a turnover of £136,994 for the year ending 31 December 2018.
The Sausage Revolution is looking to raise £150,000 via crowdfunding, in a bid to roll out the concept to the rest of the UK.
According to its Crowdcube page, the capital will be used for a store in Cardiff, before launching franchises in Bristol and the West Midlands. Primary expenditure will be for store logistics and marketing.
The sausage brand also plans to leverage technology to expand our footprint and build repeat-purchase.
“We are developing a customer-facing app with a partner that will use transaction data to release tailored sales offers to the individual,” the brand said.
The concept offers a variety of meat-selections and ordering options, including vegan and gluten-free choices. The brand also leverages pop-culture references through retro revolutionary imagery and icons.
As of press time, the concept has raised £53,530 from 45 investors.
