Wagamama to test bring-your-own takeout containers in New Zealand

The chain further aims to create more sustainability initiatives after banning plastic straws last year.

Wagamama New Zealand will be trialling an option for customers to have their own bring-your-own takeout containers for their to-go offerings, NZ Herald reported.

The chain says that they are looking to have more sustainability initiatives as they have stopped giving plastic straws last year.

The restaurant chain currently has two outlets in Auckland and one more in Wellington.
