Carluccio's trialling formal dining and experimental menu: report

The Italian chain is said to be embracing vegan options.

Carluccio’s is revitalising its offering in south west London as part of its £10 million refurbishment programme.

Big Hospitality reported that the group will be using its Richmond location as a test-bed for concepts, which include a more formal service style in the evenings, along with a focus on vegan dishes and ingredient provenance.

Carluccio’s is said to be aiming to perfect this by June before rolling it out across the UK over the next two years, with the company planning to spend up to £400,000 per site.
