Draughts' Hackney site to relocate in Dalston
The larger site is slated to open on 18 October.
Board game café Draughts announced that its Hackney site is set to arrive in a new location in Dalston.
Due to open on 18 October, the site is set over 3,000+ sq. feet indoors, featuring ornate interiors, set across two floors, with an outside area for warmer days. Features include a gaming library with over 1,000 games and a-retro inspired private dining room.
Located just 10 minutes from the old Draughts location in Haggerston, the new venue will be able to accommodate over 180 gamers. Draughts Hackney intends to be a “go-to spot” for family and friends whilst catering to avid board game lovers.
“This new larger space in East London gives us the opportunity to create a bigger and better gaming, dining, and drinking experience for everyone while allowing us the chance to really flex our creative muscles with design, creativity, and the all-round gaming experience,” Draughts founder and owner Nick Curci commented.
Draughts Hackney will be celebrating its opening with 50% off the food menu on 19 and 20 October.
