Independent street food style eateries join Westfield London
Some brands will showcase new menus for the shopping centre.
Westfield London has announced the arrival of four new independent, street food style eateries as part of its revamp of its Balcony Café Court.
Master Bao, Pizza Pilgrims, Tacos Corazon are brand new restaurants set to join returning brands Comptoir Libanais and Pho, along with the revamped Catch Me, previously Chip and Fish, from Gascon Connection, the group behind Michelin starred Club Gascon.
‘We wanted to create a new bao concept specifically for Westfield London and we’re very excited that this includes the world’s first vegan bao menu,” Master Bao co-founder Nick Birkett added.
Pizza Pilgrims will also feature a new and exclusive Westfield London menu that will introduce its Halal bresaola, the air-dried salt beef dish; and home-brewed iced tea.
The investment in the Balcony Café Court is part of a series of Westfield London enhancements, now the largest shopping centre in Europe.
“With our high footfall numbers offering a strong launch platform, we are seeing a trend of independent restaurants opening in Westfield centres. These independent retailers importantly offer a new and innovative food experience for our customers,” Keith Mabbett, director of leasing for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, said.
