Pophams Bakery set to open second site
The new London location will feature a new dinner service offering fresh artisan pasta.
Pophams Bakery is set to open its second-ever site at 205 Richmond Road in Hackney, neighbouring London Fields on the first week of June.
The brand new site will have space for 45 covers and will give diners the option to sit at a unique chef’s table to watch their baked goods and fresh pasta being made. It is also expected to feature a team of artisan bakers and baristas that have been serving a variety of handcrafted viennoiserie and coffee from local roasters at their debut Islington site since late 2017.
Its position, which is close to London Fields, intends to capture coffee and patisserie enthusiasts in the area.
“We are excited to be joining such a fantastic community of artisan bakeries based in Hackney such as E5 Bakehouse, Violet and Dusty Knuckle,” Pophams Bakery founding director Ollie Gold said.
The 1,710 sq ft ground floor unit was secured by UK property agency Shelley Sandzer.
