McDonald's announces its English breakfast muffins may now contain traces of nuts
It has placed signposts in front counters, self-order screens, drive-thru, click & collect, and McDelivery app.
Anaphylaxis Campaign shared a message on their website, reportedly funded by the fast food chain. It said, "We have been alerted by McDonald’s UK that traces of nuts and peanuts may have come into contact with the Buns and English Breakfast Muffins served in some of their restaurants.
This is a temporary issue and it will be communicated by alert from us when resolved."
Signs have been put up across UK stores warning people, "Please be aware that our Buns and English Breakfast Muffins may contain Nuts and Peanuts until further notice."
