McDonald’s UK extends partnership with Uber Direct

It aims to boost its ‘McDelivery’ service.

McDonald’s UK & Ireland has extended its partnership with Uber Direct to increase the number of customers using its ‘McDelivery’ mobile app.

Its technology allows McDonald’s customers to track delivery from their local restaurant to their door and access 24/7 customer service if additional support is ever required.

“McDonald’s is building a digital ecosystem that empowers us to create more personalised experiences and connect with our customers throughout their McDonald’s journey,” said Simon Duffy, delivery director of McDonald’s UK & Ireland.

“We are now focused on taking our partnership to the next stage as we look to help McDonald’s achieve its global targets,” said Caroline Varga, head of Uber Direct UK & Ireland.
