Nanban debuts grab-and-go express concept

The newly-launched store is located at Brixton's Electric Lane.

Nanban announced the opening of its new Express concept, offering a "grab-and-go menu” of Japanese sandwiches and salads.

Situated at Brixton's Electric Lane, Hot Dinners reports that the newly-launched store’s menu features three signature katsu sandwiches: the brand’s classic pork with shredded cabbage, tonkatsu sauce and Japanese mayo; chicken curry with fried chicken thigh, curry mayo and pickled ginger; and the vegetarian sweet miso aubergine with honey miso mayo.

Also on offer for takeaway are the spicy heritage tomatoes with ponzu dressing and shichimi salad; the poached chicken thigh with roasted sesame dressing salad; and the Roasted Asian aubergine with lime ponzu dressing and fresh mint salad.

Nanban Express is open Tuesdays to Saturdays from noon to 3pm.
