Pret A Manger conducts nationwide rollout of reusable bottles
Their plastic use reduction initiative is done in partnership with Chilly’s.
After trialing in select sites, Pret A Manger’s reusable bottle initiative with bottle company Chilly’s is now rolling out to their 370 shops nationwide.
At £20 each, the 500ml bottles feature three exclusive Pret designs: the apple robot, the cucumber snake and the watermelon lollies – aimed to help customers avoid single-use plastic bottles.
Customers and passers-by are also able to refill any reusable bottles for free using Pret’s filtered water stations that are now available in over 70 shops.
Pret also recently committed to a global Plastic Pledge to remove all “unnecessary” single-use plastic and ensure 100% of its plastic packaging is recyclable, reusable or compostable by 2025.
